THE first Warrington Festival, which hosted more than 25 events in September, has been declared a huge success by its organisers after it brought more than 20,000 people into the town.
DESPITE a drop in the number of people participating in sport nationally, LiveWire, Warrington’s biggest provider of sport, fitness, wellbeing services, community events and libraries, has seen an increase in people engaging in activities.
