WARRINGTON Town slumped to their third consecutive defeat as they went down 1-0 at former football league outfit Halifax Town.
WARRINGTON Town travelled to lower league Winterton Rangers and
produced a flat, lifeless performance to be dumped out of the 2008-09
FA Cup in the first qualifying round.
The moral of this story is “if you don’t take your chances you don’t
win” and it certainly applied to this game as The Wire dominated
possession and had the better of what chances came about but lost 0-1
to a penalty against the run of play.
