AN investigation is underway after a large shed fire which spread to conifers affected several properties at Oakwood, Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday.
At 13:40 crews from Warrington and Birchwood attended reports of a fire at a property on Lyster Close, Oakwood.
A large shed was well alight, with the fire affecting nearby conifer trees. Firefighters in breathing apparatus contained the fire and, once it was out, dampened down the surrounding area. Several properties were affected.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is being carried out.
