DURING a national campaign awareness week to clampdown on knife crime Warrington Police presented the first “Knife Savers” pack in the town.

Sir Thomas Boteler School Head teacher Miss Scott-Heron purchased the kit to help not just the school but the local community.
PCSO Tony Spruce, who presented the kit said: “The kits could literally be the difference between life and death and have all the equipment to control a bleed until the ambulance arrives, the first 4 minutes are vital with injuries like this.
“we hope that more schools, colleges and businesses in Warrington will purchase the kits and help save lives.”
