WARRINGTON based Craft in Mind, who have been working hard providing free food to those who would otherwise go without have now raised over £1,100 to help provide 200 free Christmas dinners to deserving families.
As Christmas draws nearer, Craft in Mind is aiming to provide around 200 families and individuals with a Christmas Dinner to prepare at home, Christmas crackers and gifts.
They want to find the most deserving people of Warrington to give Christmas Dinners to. Those who will find Christmas hard due to job losses, waiting for benefits and hardship caused by the pandemic. They are asking for people to nominate a family or individual.
Nominations are to be returned to Craft in Mind by the 1st December 2020. Everyone who has been selected will be contacted on the 7th December to inform them they have been chosen and they can collect in-store from their premises the Cockhedge Shopping Centre.
Director John Wilson said: “We have already raised over £1,100 for Christmas dinners and have many more people and businesses getting on board to help us.
“We are hoping to reach our target of £3,000 with everybody’s help and make Christmas very special for those that would otherwise go without.
“We want to bring lots of positivity and happiness to our wonderful town of Warrington.
