ONE more COVID-19 positive patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital while 164 new cases have been reported in the town in the latest daily update from Public Health England.
The 164 (107) new COVID-19 positive cases mean the total number of confirmed cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 5,343 (5,179).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 855 – 407.1 per 100,000 population.

A total of 41 patients have now died at the hospital in the month of October.
According to the latest data from Public Health England there have now been 193 (189) deaths in Warrington, 91.9 per 100,000 population.
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 367 (102), taking the total number of deaths to 45,365 (44,998).
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 22,885 (20,890), taking the total number to 917,575 (894,690).
Across the country, there are 9,199 (7,850) patients currently in hospital and 852 (743) patients in ventilator beds.
