Firefighters tackle large rubbish fire

FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out last night to tackle a fire involving a large pile of rubbish at Collins Green.

One fire crew from Warrington attended the scene At around 9.20pm after receiving a report of an outside fire in Collins Green Lane, Warrington.
On arrival the crew discovered that the fire involved a large pile of rubbish.
The pile measured approximately five square metres.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around 45 minutes.
