FORMER World heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson was floored by local carpet shop owner Craig Bennett at a recent sportsman’s dinner.
Craig bid for a signed Tyson “Help the Heroes” t-shirt during the dinner at the DW Stadium in Wigan raising £400 for the charity.
“To meet Tyson and support help the heroes at the same time I would of kept bidding all night,” said Craif who runs the Carpet Clearance Warehouse in Warrington.
Craig offered the former World Champion free fitting on his next carpet as long as he moves to Warrington!
