Firefighters called out to skip and rubbish fires

FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out earlier today to tackle a skip fire and a fire involving rubbish.

The first incident was reported at 14:28 when one fire crew attended a skip fire at Clay Lane, Burtonwood.
Crews used a hose reel to put out the fire.

The at 15:00 one crew attended a fire involving rubbish on Cartwright Street, Warrington.
The fire involved a small amount of cardboard. Crews used water to put out the fire.
