THERE is currently just one COVID-19 patient receiving care at Warrington Hospital with none in intensive care and just one new case confirmed in the town in the last 24 hours, according to the latest daily figures from Public Health England.
A total of 1,334 people have now tested positive in the Warrington area which equates to 636.6 per 100,000 population – an increase of one on yesterday’s figures.
A total of 136 patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital, along with 197 people in local care homes, two patients at a hospice and three people at home, taking the town’s death toll to at least 338.

To date the hospital has tested 12,165 (11,050) inpatients/community of which 1,192 (1,190) have tested positive.
They are currently caring for 1 (4) in-patient who has tested positive for Covid-19, there are NO Covid-19 positive patient in ICU (1)
They have discharged 382 (376 ) patients and sadly 136 have died.
Daily average patients through A&E is (216) and for Runcorn Urgent Care Centre is (52)
56 Babies born this week (inc. home and hospital) compared with 49 in the same week last year.
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 53, taking the total number of deaths to 45,554.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 769 taking the total number to 297,146.
