THERE have been no new COVID-19 related deaths reported at Warrington Hospital for more than a week and just one new case confirmed in the town in the last 24 hours, according to the latest daily figures from Public Health England.
A total of 1,327 people have now tested positive in the Warrington area which equates to 633.3 per 100,000 population – an increase of one on yesterday’s figures.
A total of 136* patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital, along with 197 people in local care homes, two patients at a hospice and three people at home, taking the town’s death toll to at least 338.

· To date the hospital has tested 11,050 (10,143) in-patients/community of which 1,190 (1,182 ) have tested positive.
· The hospital is currently caring for 4 (3) in-patients who have tested positive for Covid-19 of which there is 1 (0) Covid-19 positive patient in ICU
· They have discharged 376 (372 ) patients and sadly 135* (135 ) have died.
· Daily average patients through A&E is 216 and for Runcorn Urgent Care Centre is 52
· 8 Babies born this week (inc. home and hospital) compared with 7 in the same week last year.
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 114, taking the total number of deaths to 45,233.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 687 taking the total number to 293,239.
