THE Halliwell Jones was rocking again at the weekend to the sounds of Warrington based rock band Havoc51.
Havoc51 took over the stadium to record three videos for their new album to be released later this year.
Lead guitarist and singer Steve Nixon explained: “We’ve been very lucky to have a great relationship with the Wolves over the years, from playing on the pitch to entertaining on match days and at Foundation events such as the beer festivals. As the stadium is in lockdown it was the ideal opportunity to do something special”.
Bassist Antony Nixon continued: “We are all massive Wire fans and to use the stadium the way we did was incredible. We set up two sound stages, one in the South stand concourse and one on the pitch which gave us the perfect light and sound to create three great videos. We can’t wait for Super League to return and hopefully we will get the chance to entertain the Wire faithful again”.
The new release from Havoc51 follows from their 2018 album “Bourbon Ramblings” which was played on over 90 radio stations worldwide and saw the band featured in magazines across the UK, US and Canada.
