Firefighter’s marathon effort for charity

0

LYMM firefighter Becky Wightman is raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity with a 24 hour running marathon.

At 10am tomorrow, Friday (June 5), Becky will start running for 24 hours – including through the night without rest or sleep until 10am on Saturday 6 June.
Becky was due to run the Ultra marathon race but it was cancelled following Covid-19 – instead she is still putting her running shoes on and aiming to complete 300 to 400 laps around Lymm Fire Station.
Becky, who has already raised over £1500, would really appreciate the public supporting the event and the charity she has selected.
