Van destroyed in arson attack

A STOLEN camper van was dumped and set on fire in the street at Bewsey, Warrington during the night.
The vehicle and its contents were completely destroyed when the fire was started in Wellfield Street and flames spread to a nearby row of garages, causing minor scorch damage.
Fire crews tackled the outbreak, with two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using hosereel jets.
Police are investigating.
