Beauty queen gets hands dirty

THE reigning Miss Cheshire showed she was quite prepared to get her hands dirty when she helped clean out stables at Walton Hall Gardens Children’s Zoo.
Miss Cheshire – Catriona Cameron, who is also Miss Daresbury – joined 20 children at the zoo, to clean out stables occupied by the goats, ponies and donkeys.
They all spent time meeting the animals and learning what they have to eat.
It was all part of the zoo’s regular “be a zoo keeper for a day” initiative.
Catriona worked with zoo ranger Liz Rowlands who said: “Miss Cheshire was happy to muck in with all the kids and get her hands dirty. She even brought her tiara!”
