Warrington Youth Cabinet Needs You!

WARRINGTON Youth Cabinet, an organisation run by young people for young people, are growing their team and looking for new members aged 11-18 for many varying roles, to help make a difference in young people’s lives and influence the public sector along with the local government.

Anyone can be an officer in any preferred area, this role and others are flexible to suit you and your best abilities.

Just some of the roles available include:
Youth Head of Employment and Housing – This role includes working around the regeneration and economy aspects of Warrington.

Youth Communications Manager – This role involves working closely with other members of our Corporate Affairs team and the rest of the Cabinet members to ensure that our operations run smoothly at all times.

Youth Communications Officer – As an officer you will work closely with the Communications Manager to assist them with tasks and put forward any ideas of your own.

Youth Health Officer – In this role you will be involved mostly with the Wellbeing department, working helping with tasks involving health and social care of young people and wellbeing.

Youth Finance Officer – This role involves working closely with the Youth Head of Finance and the rest of the corporate affairs team to manage cash flow and grants for the Youth Cabinet.

Youth HR Officer
– In this role you will work to ensure training, development and recruitment tasks are fulfilled for the benefit of the Youth Cabinet.

Youth Community Safety Officer – This role involves association with local police to ensure Warrington is safer and a stronger community for young people.

Youth Education and SEND Officer – In this role, you will work mainly with the Wellbeing department to ensure that disadvantaged young people recieve equal opportunities in the tasks you complete.

It is preferred that potential members have some experience on a school/college council for certain higher authority roles before joining the Youth Cabinet.
