FIREFIGHTERS were called out shortly after midnight to reports of a fire in the back garden of a domestic property in Halliday Close, Birchwood, Warrington.

On arrival the crew found two fence panels well alight.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around half-an-hour.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a smouldering rag that had earlier been on fire.
