FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a bathroom fire at Fearnhead, Warrington, which is believed to have been started by a candle flame coming into contact with a shower curtain.

Two fire engines attended, one from Warrington and one from Stockton Heath at around 9.15pm following reports of a fire at a house in Derek Avenue, Warrington.
On arrival crews discovered the fire was in the upstairs bathroom and that no-one was unaccounted for.
