Two vehicle collision on Kingsway South

UPDATED:A two vehicle collision resulted in Kingsway South, Warrington being closed on Thursday afternoon as police attended at the scene.

The collision involved two cars at Westy which blocked the carriageway.
A police spokesperson said: “At around 1.15pm on Thursday 7 May police received a report of a collision in Simkin Avenue, Latchford, Warrington.
“Officers attended the scene and discovered that the collision involved a grey Mercedes and a parked white Toyota Yaris.
“The Mercedes was blocking the road.
“The vehicles have since been recovered.
“No-one was arrested at the scene and no-one is believed to have been seriously injured as a result of the collision.”
The road has since re-opened.
