Wizards tackle army in cup

WARRINGTON Wizards have a mouth-watering home game in the Carnegie Challenge Cup 2nd Round this coming Sunday (Feb 14) when they entertain The Army at Wilderspool Stadium, kick off 2.00pm.
The Wizards have had two victories already in the competition. They had a comfortable home win over Birmingham University 46-4 in the Preliminary Round and then followed that up with a narrow 28-24 win at the RAF; captain Alan Reddecliff going over for the match winning try in the third minute of injury time.
Head Player/Coach Chris Campbell is hoping that his side can overcome a very strong and well drilled Army side and reach the 3rd Round and the opportunity to take on professional opposition.
He will have influential scrum half Warren Ayres making his first appearance of the season after missing the opening two wins through being on his honeymoon and this will be a huge boost to the side.
