WARRINGTON residents once again turned out in for to “clap for carers” to show their support for hard working NHS and frontline care workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
As well as clapping there was the banging of pans and blowing of whistles and in one street neighbours Warren Davies and Alison Benson sang John Lennon’s Imagine after the one minute applause for carers and key workers.
Various Cheshire fire brigade teams also turned out in force to show their support.
Taken at 2000 – we couldn't see anyone applauding the the NHS, but we could sure hear you. Nice one. #NHSHeroes pic.twitter.com/1A74F8CmkB
