Woman suffers minor burns in Orford flat fire

A WOMAN suffered minor burns and required oxygen treatment after a flat fire at Orford, Warrington, last night (Thursday).

Two fire engines, one from Warrington and one from Stockton Heath attended at the fire at a flat in Norris Street, Orford, shhortly after 8.30pm.
On arrival smoke alarms were sounding but the fire was out.
Firefighters administered oxygen to a casualty suffering from minor burns before handing her over to the care of paramedics. She did not go to hospital.
Firefighters made sure that the flat was safe before leaving the scene.
They were in attendance for around 45 minutes.
