Volunteer to tread the boards

A VOLUNTEER who fancies “treading the boards” at short notice is needed by a Warrington drama group.
Bridgewater Players is staging the pantomime Robin Hood from February 18 to 20 – and need a replacement for a cast member who has had to drop out.
The show, at Thelwall Parish Hall, is directed by Ian Hornby.
He said: “One of the cast members has just had to drop out and we have nobody to replace him. The character has only a few lines, perhaps seven or eight, so it should be easy to learn in plenty of time.
“We are looking for someone to step in. They will be made very welcome.”
Mr Hornby can be contacted via mailto:[email protected] or on 01925 485605.
