WARRINGTON residents took to the streets for the “Clap For Our Carers” campaign on Thursday night to thank the NHS workers who are working round the clock battling the coronavirus pandemic.
Residents in all parts of the town applauded the NHS workers clapping from windows, doorsteps or balconies for one minute at 8pm to show their appreciation.
The message to “clap for our carers” had been circulating widely on social mediawith hundreds of thousands of people across the UK taking part.
People from all walks of life across the whole country from celebrities to royals to sports stars took part to show their support.
