WARRINGTON couple Danny Giblin and Lindsay Jude are celebrating after collecting the Director’s Award as Nice ‘n’ Naughty’s original “married couple,” who have been together, in store, for over 15 years.

They received their award at the “party of the year” when Nice ‘n’ Naughty threw their annual Awards Party at Flanagan’s in Warrington which was a spectacular event, with the team from all locations in full attendance, except for one.

Jack James, Senior Retail Assistant in the Brighton branch, who was missed by all his friends, stayed behind to make sure the store was open on Sunday without any disruption, but Philip Charter-Price ensured he was rewarded for his dedication on the team’s return with a restaurant booking for Jack and his partner in Brighton.

Also in attendance were numerous suppliers and specially invited guests. Suppliers included Impressions, Net 1on1, VH2, Creative Conceptions, PlayHarda, Shots Media, and Award Winner on the night, JD Distribution.

Special invited guests were, amongst others, Paul Smith, Features Editor at ETO and individuals who had been instrumental in the support of the licensing of the new Boutique, who all received Goodie Bags courtesy of Scala.

The night’s theme was the 1980s and all attendees dressed to impress, with Director Simon Prescott having an outfit change from Rocky Balboa to Cupid Stunt halfway through the night, to rapturous applause from the crowd.

The room was filled with everyone from Boy George to Maverick, and Super-Ted to Bananaman; we even had the evil twins from the Shining in attendance.

Guests of the evening were treated to a buffet, created by James, Jody and the amazing team at Flanagan’s, that spanned the globe! Samosas, Sticky Ribs, Smoked Salmon, and Satay to name a few, but with dishes from Mexico, Asia, the US and Europe, the feast was one to behold!

Entertainment for the evening saw everybody in great singing voice with the classic ‘80s tunes being belted out in true Karaoke fashion, and an unexpected rendition of Eye of The Tiger by Simon Prescott, Trish Murray, Emma Humphreys and Philip Charter-Price. But the night was not just about the guests letting their hair down and having a great time, it was also a chance for Nice ‘n’ Naughty to show recognition to the company’s best asset, its team.

Awards presented on the night included:
1 Year Service Awards to Cathie Hotchkiss, Lulu Brand and Jack James
3 Year Service Awards to Carren Cave and Dawn Evans
15 Year Service Award to Lindsey Jude
Absolute Attendance Awards to Lulu Brand and Philip Charter-Price
Above and Beyond Award to Emma Humphreys
Biggest Sale Award to Carren Cave
Consider It Done Award to Emma Humphreys
Employee of The Year Award to Emma Humphreys
Supplier of The Year Award to Spencer Dallaway of JD Distribution

“It was such a fantastic night, and so good to see all the family together. But it was made even more special by seeing so many of our extended family there too” Philip Charter-Price commented, “and we are all so looking forward to next year’s party, where we will throw the doors open to all the suppliers again, and it would be great to see you all there”.
