Health Trust's new directors

TWO new non-executive directors have been appointed to the board of directors at 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust, which provides mental health services for Warrington.
Brian Marshall and Rupert Nichols were appointed by the Appointments Commission’s Health and Social Care Appointments Committee and will serve for a three-year period.
Brian is a qualified accountant with extensive experience in national and international businesses at a senior level. He has a track record of successfully leading financial turnaround programmes and has more than 20 year’s experience leading and managing in large complex industries.
He also has NHS experience as an internal auditor for local health authorities.
Rupert is a qualified solicitor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators. He has a 40 year career including commercial law, both in this country and abroad.
He takes part in a variety of voluntary activities including honorary solicitor and trustee of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and is a Rainford parish councillor.
Bernard Pilkington, chairman, said: “I am pleased to welcome Rupert and Brian as non-executive directors on our Trust Board. Both bring with them a wealth of experience and I am looking forward to working with them both over the next three years.”
