A WARRINGTON woman was left shaken and terrified after four masked men threatened her with a sledgehammer in her home and stole her car.
The burglary happened on Chesterton Drive, Winwick Park last Friday (Jan 8) at around 8pm when the men, aged between 20 and 25 and described as being of medium build with Liverpudlian accents, forced their way in to the house.
They threatened the 36-year-old woman with the sledgehammer and demanded the keys to a Black Audi 07 S3 Quattro. They searched the house for the keys then fled in the vehicle, leaving the woman shocked but not injured.
Police are asking for anyone with any information to contact DC Neil Fleming at Warrington CID on 0845 458 000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
