WARRINGTON Wolves’ players will be escaping the cold snap as they fly out to Tenerife today, Thursday, for warm weather training.
Meanwhile the Wolves’ pre-season campaign is now set to start on Sunday January 17 against the Leigh Centurions at Leigh Sports Village.
With Warrington’s Boxing Day clash cancelled this will be the first opportunity for Wolves’ boss Tony Smith to give the player’s a run-out in 2010 looking to field as strong a team as possible.
The start of engage Super League XV is just over four weeks away and all players are keen to show what they can do, vying for starting positions at the start of the season. The Leigh clash kicks off at 3pm and ticket prices are: £14 adults and £7 concessions/children/student. Hospitality packages are also available. Tickets are available from Wolfware or online at warringtonwolves.com.
