A LANDMARK building in Warrington town centre, which has stood empty for years, is to be brought back into use.
The former Technical College in Palmyra Square South – later used as the Borough Treasurer’s Office – is to be converted into a hotel and restaurant.
Planning chiefs have approved the change of use of the office building into a 10-bedroom hotel, restaurant, bar, spa and leisure facility.
The scheme will involve partial demolition and replacement of part of a rear extension and external work to the car park.
Improved access will also be provided.
