Choose Well this winter!

NHS Warrington is urging people to ‘Choose Well’ when feeling unwell and in need of advice as winter sets in.
The Choose Well campaign directs people towards what local health services are on hand to assist them, directing them to the most appropriate service for their needs, should they fall ill this winter.
The thermometer branding represents 6 NHS services including Self Care, NHS Direct, Pharmacists, GP’s, Urgent Care and Accident and Emergency.
Pictured with the giant thermometer, NHS Warrington’s Wellbeing Mentors are giving their support for the winter Choose Well campaign.
The Wellbeing Mentors recently launched the Wellbeing service which supports and motivates members of our local community to make lifestyle changes, enhancing their well-being.
They have chosen to endorse the Choose Well campaign as Choose Well also aims to protect and encourage well-being in our local community, urging people to make the right choice about where to go for medical advice and treatment this winter.
Choose Well information will be easy to spot – informative posters and leaflets will be distributed in public places throughout Warrington, as part of a wide spread campaign.
