Gang attack man

POLICE are asking for witnesses after a Warrington man was attacked by a large gang as he made his way home on Sunday night.
The large group struck at 11pm as the 20-year-old man walked down Poplars Avenue, near Concord Place.
They stole personal items including a mobile phone and some cash but the victim managed to escape with only minor injuries. He was not able to tell police how many people were in the gang or give police a description of them.
