Neighbourhood wardens
TWO new neighbourhood wardens have been appointed to patrol the Cobbs and Latchford areas. Their job is to support community activities and safety and to liaise with residents, especially older people.

Hospital lottery
THE lucky winner of the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital scooped a jackpot prize of £788. The winning numbers were 1, 5, 11 and 12.
A £25 consolation prize of £25 was won by a hospital visitor.

Houses replaced
TWO houses in Holcroft Lane and Culcheth Hall Drive, Culcheth, Warrington, can be demolished to make way for new dwellings,.

Wreath donation
STOCKTON Heath Parish Council gas agreed to grant £120 to the Royal British Legion to cover the cost of a donation and a wreath for the Remembrance Sunday service in the village.

Book fair
A BOOK fair is to take place at Thelwall Parish Hall on November 18 and organisers are on the look out for unwanted, good quality books. Anyone who can donate a few volumes is asked to call Martha Regan on 01925 261763.
