Have a say on transport – on video!

TEENAGERS in Warrington are being invited to post a video of their comments and experiences of public transport.
Anyone aged 13 to 19 who wants to have a say on public transport is invited to upload their video before Monday November 9 to www.youtube.com/user/TheYouthSummits or send their comments to [email protected]
The videos will be screened at the next youth summit, which will cover the topic of transport, at the Parr Hall on Tuesday November 17.
Coun Sheila Woodyatt, the borough council’s executive member for children and young people, said: “The thinking behind these summits is to engage young people in the design and delivery of the services most relevant to themselves.”
The last youth summit, held in the summer, was attended by 80 young people and discussed spaces and places for youngsters.
Anyone interested can get more details by phoning Warrington Youth Support Service on 442874 or emailing [email protected]
Videos and podcasts from the last two summits are available on www.warrington.gov.uk
