POTENTIAL poets in Warrington have a last chance to win £1,000 in a free competition aimed at getting people to write about their area.
Poems must be no more than 20 lines and 160 words each, and should be about someone or something from the home area.
Poems should be sent to Local Poem, United Press Ltd, Admail 3735, London, EC1B 1JB or via the website www.unitedpress.co.uk
The closing date is December 31.
