Sports village plans go on show

DETAILED site and floor plans for the main buildings and external areas of the multi-million Orford Park Project go on show from today (Monday)
They will be available for scrutiny by members of the public at 10 different locations until Friday, October 16.
The locations are: Customer Contact Centre, Horsemarket Street; Longford Neighbourhood Services Centre; Orford Library; Orford Neighbourhood Project Office, Cotswold Road; Warrington Library; Planning Department Reception; Fordton Leisure Centre; Town Hall Reception; Select Soccer (next to William Beamont High School); Orford Park Community Outreach Centre.
In addition, members of the project design team and council service manager will be available to discuss the plans with interested members of the public and users on the following dates and locations:
October 5: Fordton Leisure Centre, 10am-12 noon. Select Soccer: 6pm-8pm.
October 15: Orford Library, 10am-12 noon. Warrington Library: 2pm-4pm.
October 16: Orford Park Community Outreach Centre: 6pm-8pm.
Next phase of the development will be the appointment of contractors for work to improve highway access to the site, construct the building and carry out improvements to the landscaped areas.
Work is expected to start in December and up to date information will be posted on the website http://orfordproject.warrington.gov.uk
