Armed raiders grab cash

TWO masked men, armed with knives, got away with cash from a Warrington corner shop.
They entered the shop in Kingsway North, threatened two women members of staff and forced them to open a till.
Then they leaned over the counter, grabbed a three figure sum in cash, and fled.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the robbery at 9pm last night (Wednesday).
Neither of the two women assistants was hurt, but both were left badly shaken.
The two offenders were both wearing dark clothing and one was in shorts.
One was slim and about 5ft 10 inches tall while the second was about 5ft 11. Both had their faces covered a wore dark hoods, pulled down.
After running from the shop, they are believed to have run down Farrell Street.
