A guide to good health

0

A GUIDE aimed at helping Warrington people keep healthy and find their way through NHS services is being delivered to local homes.
It will provide information on services, getting the best from the NHS and tips on how to stay healthy.
Advice is offered on how to get the right treatment, from self care to accident and emergency. It also includes important contact numbers and advice on finding a GP surgery or dentist.
Those who want to give up smoking, feel they are drinking too much or have concerns about their sexual health, will also find advice. The health improvement section also contains information on coping with stress.
Also included in the guide are useful contact details for other services and organisations within the borough, such as Warrington Borough Council and Warrington Disability Partnership.
Anyone wishing to get involved or have their say on health care will also find information in the guide to help.
Guides should be delivered within the next two weeks. Anyone who does not receive one should contact 01925 843600 to have one posted out.
