AROUND 100 runners took to the streets of Warrington showing their support for local mum Louise Blizzard who is set to run her 25th London Marathon to raise funds for the River Reeves Foundation.
Louise Blizzard will become only the second woman in history to hit the 25 marathon milestone when she takes part in the London Marathon this Sunday (April 28).
Louise, who is a regular at the Warrington Parkrun, is running in aid of The River Reeves Foundation, which was set up after the death of the local band Viola Beach – of which River Reeves was a member.
“River’s Runners” met up at the Village Hotel to take part in a fun run 5k helping raise funds for the charity and to show their support for Louise.
