WARRINGTON Borough Council is launching its first ever Warrington Business Conference to help make the town an even better place to do business.
Taking place on Thursday October 15 at the town’s Halliwell Jones Stadium, the afternoon event will explore how the public and private sector can better work together.
Topics such as ‘Brand Warrington,’ regeneration and what are the challenges and opportunities for different business sectors will all be explored.
Robert Hough, Chairman North West Development Agency and Felicity Goodey from Media City will both be speaking at the event, as will senior council figures.
Cllr Ian Marks, leader of the council (pictured right) said: “Warrington continues to compete strongly at the national level as a strategic home for a diverse range of businesses from telecoms, energy and marketing to publishing and transport. By working together I am sure that the private and public sectors can better serve the local community and each other in these challenging times.”
Following the conference there will be an opportunity for networking. Please note only two representatives from each company/organisation may attend to ensure a diverse mix of delegates and interests.
