A 40-year-old Warrington man has been killed in a road crash.
The man was riding a Honda motor cycle on the A49 Tarporley Road at Lower Whitley, near Warrington yesterday (Friday).
The machine was in collision with a Ford Mondeo car.
The road was closed for several hours after the crash, causing major traffic congestion.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the collision and anyone who can help is asked to call 01244 614270.
