Doc starts training – with a party

CULCHETH resident Dr Toni Tan – a Children’s Doctor from Manchester – is preparing for the challenge of his life when he is to go trekking in the foothills of the Himalaya on October 10
He will raising money for the charity Medequip4kids, which helps sick and injured children in and out of hospitals in the North West.
Apart from preparing his body and soul for this challenge he is now also throwing a big “Tropical Summer Party” on Friday October 2 in the Village Club to raise money for the charity.
There will be lots of music, drinks at the bar and buffet food. Culcheth High School Saxophone Band has agreed to perform live, there will be limbo dance and hula-hoop competitions and an auction and a raffle with hundreds of prizes.
Tickets are available from the Harrow, the Village Club or on the door.
