Extra parking for restaurant

1

CULCHETH’S popular Duckegg Bluu restaurant has won planning consent to revise the layout of its car park to provide an additional five spaces.
Permission was also granted for a small storage shed which had already been placed on the site.
Three nearby residents and Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council had opposed the changes on the grounds of increased noise and disturbance affecting adjacent houses. But a letter supporting the proposals cited the lack of adequate parking in the centre of Culcheth
Planning officers recommended the scheme be approved, subject to landscaping between the car park and the nearest house in Newsholme Close and parking being banned on certain spaces after 6.30pm.
