Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 7, 9, 14 and 15. The jackpot prize was not claimed and a £25 consolation prize was won by a member of hospital staff.

Fashion show
MEMBERS of Dorchester Road Residents Association are holding a fashion show at Hood Manor Community Centre on September 15 in aid of the Dorchester Road boat park project.
Facelift
WARRINGTON Borough Council’s “Look of the Borough” project will target Orford during September and October, with a seven week clean-up of grot spots, etc. Residents are being asked to let local councillors know about any eyesores that need removing.
Country walk
PARK rangers are to lead a seven-and-a-half mile walk around Birchwood and Culcheth on Sunday, September 13. The trek starts from the ranger centre in Birchwood Forest Park at 11am.
