WARRINGTON faced further traffic delays for a third consecutive day following a six vehicle collision on the M62 this morning.

There were long delays on the M62 following the collision on the eastbound carriageway near junction 12 for Eccles which resulted in three lanes being closed at around 7.30am with traffic tailing back to Winwick.

The motorway is now re-opened with no reported delays. Six vehicles were involved.

As a result the A57 in Warrington was also extremely busy this morning.
