Wind turbine
AN application for planning permission for a 12.3m high wind turbine at St Matthews CE Primary School, Stretton, has been withdrawn.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 5, 9, 11 and 13. The jackpot prize was not won but a consolation prize of £25 was awarded to a member of hospital staff.

Community centre
PLANNING chiefs have approved an application for permission to change the use of an industrial unit on the Bridge Foot Industrial Estate, Old Road, Warrington to a community centre.
