Birds of prey centre’s festive fundraiser

THE Wild Wings birds-of-prey centre at Risley, Warrington is holding a special Christmas shopping fundraiser tomorrow (Sunday).
The centre, on the Taylor Business Park, will be open from 10am to 4pm offering an opportunity to see more than 80 beautiful birds of prey, Including Owls, Hawks, Falcons and Kookaburras along with an Eagle and a family of Raccoons.
There will be a wide range of birds-of-prey themed gifts on sale, face painting for the children along with a free quiz.
Mulled wine, mince pies and other hot drinks will be available to keep out the cold.
All monies raised on the day are for the rescued birds being cared for at the centre
