  1. “Yet again, as I have always stated, the Warrington Wolves faithful will turn out in vast numbers”

Faithful? Less than 10,000 are faithful, the rest are bandwagon jumpers.

  2. So if someone has watched for 30 years but not been going this season because they are hard up or been disillusioned they are not faithful!!!??

Well done to everyone for getting behind the town’s team!

  3. Dear me! 25,000 fans is fantastic, so quit yer moaning! Who cares if they go to every match, not been for a bit, or never been before??!! They will be supporting Warrington, and who knows, may come back for more! Jeez, some people are never happy! Come on, let’s just paint Wembley Primrose and Blue! COME ON THE WIRES!!

  4. 25,000 people going to Wembley to support the Wire is very good, the number of fans going is about 10,000.

Gary do you want people to use this section of the website or not? Is there a loyalty test somewhere?

  5. No loyalty test Eagle – just taking issue with your statement – My wife has been a fan/supporter of the Wire for more than 20 years and followed them home and away for many years. Motherhood then came along and although she still attends occasional games she can no longer make the commitment. In fact I don’t get to every game these days – but |I can assure you I have been a loyal fan for more than 30 years!

My kids have been members of the wolf pack in the past and are looking forward to following their home town team to Wembley.

It is easy to see where the extra numbers are coming from – they are true loyal fans who don’t get the opportunity to go every game but now want to share in the joy this occasion is bringing to the whole town.
