Tag rugby contest for kids

A FOUR nation’s tag rugby competition is being organised at Warrington by Fit Kidz – the initiative to promote sport and fitness among young.
Funded by the Youth Opportunity Fund, it is open to all young people aged 7 – 17 years old in the Dallam area.
Two keen volunteers will train each of the four national teams – England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Paul Flannery, Fit Kidz advisor said: “Last summer we held similar tournament and around 40 young people and volunteers got involved. It was a great success and we hope to improve on this figure this year.”
The teams will each wear the relevant kits and prizes will be awarded for the best performers after the final on Wednesday August 26 at Dallam Children’s Centre.
More information is available from Whitecross Community Centre, telephone 07740075798 or email [email protected]
Fit Kidz is a Positive Futures initiative.
