IF the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final between Huddersfield Giants and Warrington Wolves at Wembley ends in a draw a replay will take place at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium on Tuesday September 8, kick off 7.05pm.
The match would be screened live on BBC 2 and if the replay ends in a draw it will be settled with a golden point.
The RFL have taken the decision to make the announcement early believing the likelihood of a draw to be quite high following a number of close encounters in the competition, including Warrington’s golden point victory at Hull KR.
