ROSE Swift, 19, got the fund-raising “bug” after raising £212 for cancer research by running the “Race for Life.”
So now she has recruited family members to help her in another fundraiser – a day of fun at Culcheth Village Club – the Royal British Legion – in aid of the NSPCC.
It takes place on Sunday, August 9 and there will be stalls, a bouncy castle, treasure hunt, raffle, dance troupe, etc.
Helping Rose will be her Mum, Jennifer, twin sisters Heyley and Kate, 23, brother James, 15 and other members of the family.
Jennifer said: “We are so proud of her. She has organised everything herself, including going round and getting raffle prizes, etc from companies.
“It should be a really good family day out for local people.”
The fun day starts at 11am and continues until 6pm.
